Ceramic Coating

 Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that's applied to a car's exterior to protect the paint from damage caused by the elements. It's typically made of silicon dioxide (SiO2), which can be found in natural materials like quartz and sand, and can also include other additives like titanium dioxide (TiO2) to improve its protective qualities. When applied by hand, the coating bonds with the car's paint to create a hydrophobic (water-repellent) layer that can be permanent or semi-permanent, depending on the type of coating and polymer used: Ceramic coating can provide several benefits, including:

• Protection from UV rays: Prevents the paint from oxidizing, which can cause fading and dullness
• Prevents dirt adhesion: Keeps things like bird droppings and brake dust at bay
• Cost-effective: Can last for years without breaking down or wearing off under heat stress like wax, which needs to be renewed more frequently
